Sunday School (9:30 a.m.
each Sunday)
Builders Class - This class
has been meeting the longest of any in the church. They meet
every Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. in the Church Parlor, next to
Fellowship Hall. They thoroughly enjoy a hymn-sing every
class, and a devotional study from Tarbell's Lesson Commentary
led by Roy Penepacker.
Generations: Our third
Sunday class is a little more contemporary than the other two.
This class studies and discusses Christian Ethics in light of
current events. Jim and Beverly
Brock lead the discussions. They meet in the Library.
Also see "Children's
Church" just below.
|
| Children's Church
Most of our children's Sunday School
activities are incorporated in the Children's Church each Sunday
during the 10:45 a.m. Worship Service. They meet in the classroom
next to the nursery.
Nursery
Nursery facilities are available at
all Sunday services, and will be provided as necessary for other
activities. During the adult study classes on Sunday morning,
provisions are made for activities for children of all ages.

Special Events
|
| Seekers and Joiners Class
Classes run two consecutive Sundays and are held at
9:30 am (during Sunday school). This is an opportunity
for new and prospective members to learn about the church
and meet others who are also new in the congregation.
Communicant's Class
Communicant's classes are conducted
as needed. Mentoring is the method we use to match each seeker with
a covenant partner.
The covenant partner is a mature
member of the church who accompanies the seeker through a study of
Luke, a service project, and faith experiences (interviews with
three church members).
Communicant's seekers are usually 7th
grade and older.

Lenten Luncheons
Held Wednesdays in March and April. These are ecumenical community events with speakers from
various churches.
Vacation Bible School
Conducted each summer. Designed
to be fun with a lot of child participation activities.
