Vacation
Bible School, June 16th-20th
Vacation Bible School is scheduled
for the week of June 16th through 20th. Pre-registration will
be held on May 11th. The theme this year will be "Rain
Forest Adventure".

Loose
Change Offering
Each month the loose change offering
will be used to support a local charity. For the months of May and
June the loose change offering will support the J. Roy Dunning
Children's Shelter. The Evangelism and Community Outreach Committee
appreciates your support of this ministry and the other local
ministries supported by this congregation.

Rev.
Bobbie McGarey Becomes Interim Pastor, February 24th
Rev. Bobbie McGarey became our
interim pastor on Sunday, February 24th. Rev. McGarey has
served as a Presbyterian minister for 30 years. She received
her Master's Degree from Vanderbilt Divinity School and her
Doctorate from McCormick Theological School. She is specially trained
as an interim pastor to work with us as we complete the process
required to seek a permanent pastor. Bobbie and her husband
Rev. John McGarey live in Duncan where John is the pastor for the
First Presbyterian Church.

Events
Wednesday
Night Family Night
All members, their friends and
neighbors are encouraged to attend our mid-week Family night at 5:30
p.m. on Wednesday during the school year. It includes a dinner provided by the church with a
suggested contribution of $3 for each meal appreciated.
At 6:15 p.m. (after supper) there will be Bible study on 1 Timothy
followed by Titus. A nursery is also provided starting at 6:00
p.m. We will have crafts and Bible stores for the little ones.
Presbyterian
Coffee Project
The Presbyterian Coffee Project links
congregations with small farmers through fair trade in partnership
with Equal Exchange. We will be selling Equal Exchange coffee
and tea as a ministry to small farmers in Latin America, Asia and
Africa by cutting out the middlemen who offer the lowest possible
price. Through Equal Exchange the farmer cooperatives are paid
directly. If you would like to purchase coffee or tea,
see the display in the church office for details.

Sunday Luncheons
Come join us in the Fellowship Hall following
the 10:45 a.m. worship service the first Sunday of the month once each
quarter. Nursery is provided.
